The Crean Family

This incredible stocking was handmade by Lois' mother and Aunt Carol as a gift for me in the early 1990's. It is stunningly beautiful and every Christmas it hangs near the other stockings. Every year we make the same remark that thousands of years from now this will be uncovered in an archaeological dig and challenge the great minds to ponder the traditions surrounding Hanukkah.

We're busy packing and getting ready for the trip tomorrow. Amtrak from Penn Station at 10am gets us into DC's Union Station at about 1:30pm. Dad's picking us up. I sent a Honeybaked Ham to the house, so I assume we'll be having some of that for dinner tomorrow. Can't wait!
